Hi,

I have a home network based on windows 98SE workstations, one PC is entirely dedicated as server to ADSL/Internet (using internet sharing connection), runing ZoneAlarm as firewall.

I want to be able to restrict internet access (in term of time slots and global amount of time/day) based on user identification.

Do you know the way to do that ? any tool to use ? maybe any simple architecture to setup ? or any firewall/proxy ?
I don't need a "highlevel tool", it's only for a domestic use.
For a standalone PC, formerly I used the tool named "Enuff" and it was totally useful.
Thanks by advance

what kind of server software are you using? knoweldge is power, spread the power

I have no server software, the "server" is runing Windows98SE, and I use "MS-Internet Connection Sharing" to grant access to internet to the other PC running Windows 98SE as well.

you will have to set up internet access control on each PC

MS ISP is an TCP/IP interface therefore all PC have open access

Another idea too is to purchase a cable/dsl router (I prefer Linksys) so you can filter out users. It also provides great protection. Good luck!
