how to restore tape from another backup server

Would you clarify what you mean by "i can see the contents in the tape"?
I recently had to do a similar import/restore from one NetBackup Master to another and it worked without a hitch. I first added the media ID to the 2nd NBU Master, inserted/injected the tape (if it'd been a library I would have had to do an Inventory Robot), did the import, then the restore.
