How to restore label of tape that has been quick-erased?

I have a 'small' problem - a backup tape created from ArcServe v6.x on a Novell network was quick erased by accident. A data recovery company would charge $1500 to restore this tape. Are there any good utilities for rebuilding tapes?

You are out of luck.
You need to call CA and beg, they do have a utility for this... Get your account rep involved...The guys on the phone at tech. supt. will not help you with this.. Jim P. Ames
