Hi,

I accidentally deleted a file in adobe bridge. Unfortunately, the undo button is disabled and I cannot restore the file. Is there something like a "Recycle Bin" in bridge? If I am using Version Cue, I think I could have easily restored the file in the Project folder. Unfortunately, I am not working with Version Cue and I have deleted the file from the a folder.

I have reset the warning dialogs in Bridge. I deleted a test file and it gave me a warning "Are you sure you want to sent [filename] to the Recycle Bin?" I chose "Yes" and I opened the Recycle Bin and the file was there.

The strange thing is why didn't the file I previously deleted showing up in the Recycle Bin? (I have not emptied the Recycle Bin yet). Also, the "Undo" button was previously disabled when I did the delete. I tried running "chkdsk" from command prompt (I thought maybe the Recycle Bin was just corrupted) but the file is still missing.

Anyone experience something like this?

Also if the file was not on a local drive - such as a NAS or network drive, it will not go into your recycle bin - however the network admin may be able to save you.
