Hi all,
I have a database on server A running ms sql server 2000 and I have made a backup of it.
I want to restore it on server B where this database doesn't exist.
Using the gui in server B, if I select restore database, it only shows the databases that exist in server B, and I can't even see my backup.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
George

You should be able to backspace over that name and specify your own name for the new database. Then, you'll have to select "from device" and then choose "Select Device". In the new window, select "Add" and navigate to wherever your backup is.

Hope This Helps!
