I designed a logo composed of a large number of grouped objects.
I am ready to resize it and place it on a business card template.
However, when i try to change the size of the grouped objects altogether, one specific part of it seems to ungroup itself and its relation to one another changes.
I really need some help, ive tried almost everything.

Can someone outline step by step what to do to fix this problem?
thanks guys.

Hi

How are you selecting everything.
And how are you trying to change the size.

If you go to the select drop down and click "All"

You should be able to drag a corner holding the shift key and have it all scale even if the objects are not grouped.
The applies to objects and type.

Same with using transform to scale the logo to a certain percentage.

If all else fails and you are in a hurry to get it done you could try saving it as a PDF file and then placing the PDF file. Then scale the PDF file to the size you want.

When you create the PDF file turn off the command in the options that says "Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities.
This should keep it from becoming multiple parts again.
Remember that the box that you get for the PDF file when you select it will be as big as the page you created it on.
So the corners may not be close to the Logo.
