How to reset WLAN 2220 login password?

I got a used Nortel WLAN AP 2220. I tried to use HyperTerminal PE through console port to do the setup. But someone had changed the login password, whatever I input it give me the 'Username or Password is invalid' reply.
I know the default pswd&IP. So how can I reset everything to factory default?
I 've tried keep sticking reset button when power up, no luck.

sounds like you're using the reset button correctlty. Default username is nortel, password is blank. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Yeah, pressing the reset button when power on the AP. Doesn't work!
BTW, please tell me how to upgrade this AP's firmware?
