The DVD player on my TOSHIBA laptop - Satellite 133Mhz has reached maximum number (5) of region code changes allowed. What can I do to reset the number of switches to allow me to continue playing movies in different regions. I am running Windows XP - Home edition. The DVD player is "Intervedio WinDVD2000" with CDR/CDRW/DVD combination. I am not a computer wiz. Any help in simple terms would be appreciated.

anyone telling you how to do this would probably be in danger of being arrested... and most of the likely sites on the internet will be full of 'bots and trojan horses...

however, the thing I want to know is why you want to run so many different region DVDs? If you're just a linguist, that's cool; but you'd be better off buying or renting your movies from someone who will supply them from just one region...

Good hunting! JTB
