All,

I have a 1120E to replace. If I remember correctly don't you have to deregister the old phone first? Sorry it's been a long time since I've worked on a BCM.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks

You do as you would normally put in the TN of the existing phone and you can only have one phone on a TN, second one will say "Unregistered Duplicate

I recall that you have to unregister the IP set on the BCM system via the Element Manager tool first.

You then add back in the TN details from the CS1K and on the IP set, you add in the port number which I think was either 7000 or 7300 etc.

The biggest problem that you might have is with the IP firmware as some IP sets will require an older version to be installed via a TFTP server.

The IP set should register onto the BCM first to get the firmware, before it then resets and connects to the CS1K system.
