I am new to the Gentran translator. I think someone can help me out with my problem. Currently, I am working on Gentran translator version 4 on the NT. I am working on the HIPAA project. Our provider will send us the 837 transaction files for Dental, Inst, and Prof and requests us to FTP 997 files back with the unique names such as 997 for Dental will be : " C337290N.PRD997.C057038y.ACK837.(date and time) " Inst and Prof will be other unique names. I have no idea how to make this happen because the 997 files will be generated with the random numbers to name the files so I can not use a script in process control to rename them. Please help me for this issue. Thanks.
