Hi! I have a laptop computer running Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Pro - How do I remove the XP Home from the laptop without re-installing everything? Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any educated advice.

You must edit and remove the OS entry that you no longer want in the Boot.ini file located on the C: You must enable view hidden files in order to see the file on the C:\

I believe there is another place in windows to edit this but cant remember off the top of my head!

Right click on My Computer,Select Advanced Tab, Under Startup and Recovery click on settings and then on Edit Boot.ini.

Delete the entry for the unwanted Windows, and save. Then you can go ahead and delete its files being careful not to delete anything that belongs to the other OS

Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

You can edit boot.ini using start-run-msconfig
