I am running Netware 5.0 SP6a.

I have 2 Organization that needs to be removed. They are no longer a part of the company. In NDS Manager, when I right click on it, the option for delete is greyed out. How can I delete it?

Are you logged in as a user that had admin access to the organizations? It sounds like a rights issue to me. -----------------------------------------------------

In a normal NDS, the ADMIN account is created under the first Organization in the tree. If you have added extra organizations, I presume that you would have either had seperate ADMIN accounts under each organization or amended your existing ADMIN account to have rights.

If you right-click on your original organization, do you see the Delete option (don't select it!!! just see if it is available!) -----------------------------------------------------

Also, have you merged the NDS partition back with [Root]? You won't be able to delete the Organization if there is still NDS Partitions associated with it. -----------------------------------------------------

Hi,

What exactly are you trying to remove? The Partitions or the Organizational objects in the tree.

If you are trying to remove the Partitions, see TheLads statement above about merging. If you are trying to remove the objects, do so in NetWare Administrator.

I was able to remove it under NWAdmin. I just needed to remove the objects below first. Thanks for your help.
