How to remove or inactivate document opened by ActiveX

Hi All
I have created a activex control to load word document in browser.Additionally I would like to be able to remove or inactivate documents within a 24 - 48 hr window. Once the document has been in active mode for greater than this time, the document cannot be removed.

How can i remove the document or inactivate the document once the document is opened after 24 hours.
