how to remove instance id in sent reportname

Hi All,

Problem:
I schedule/send reports via XI3 in pdf format to mailbox user.
Receiver get the reports,so far so good but title of the pdf-file changes like:
ReportforAccountmanagers x3A 14439.pdf
Next report will be ReportforAccountmanagers x3A 14440.pdf

It looks like its sending an id or instancenumber also..
How can I avoid this id/instance in the title??

Hi,
Did you create a Title and enter it in the Report's Summary options when it was designed? That should be what becomes the PDF's name.

Thanks Turkbear, intresting answer, as you might know developers are sometimes lazy and dont write the properties
I will try Thursday when I am on the project again and will let you know!

Hi,
Also look in the CMC for that scheduled job and see what file name was chosen when it was configured.
