I'm using Lotus Smartsuite Millenium. I just started to use the approach program and I cannot remove the field label/name from the form I have created.

Also, if anyone can recommend a good brief book which would give me a little more than basics.

Thanks

In Design mode, select the field box and open the properties sheet (Info Box). On the ABC tab, select the Label radio button. There is a box to edit/delete the field label or you can leave it and select None in the position list.

Sue Sloan has reprinted her excellent book, Using Lotus Approach 96 Special Edition. Current versions are so similar to 96 that it's perfectly good for any 32bit version of Approach. You can purchase it on line from by following the XpertSS Products link.
