How to remove and reinstall DNS 1

I have a real huge problem DNS is broken, so I want to restart from scratch I read articles on how to achieve this by deleting certain dns files and then removing dns and reinstalling dns. It all seemed really simple until I came to uninstall dns I went into add remove and the add remove windows components fails, it turns out that the file sysoc.inf is currupt. So what can I do now what are my options?

Is it the DNS for your AD?

what happens if you replace sysoc.inf from the servicepack files? do not overwrite it just rename and copy the new one.

I will try that GrimR and yes the DNS is for AD paella33

Removing all DNS servers from your DNS will effectively disable your domain. So be very careful.
