Hello,

When I try to unistall a certain program I receive a message that it cannot be uninstalled since a dll is missing. I tried to reinstall it and unistall but I still receive the same message. Finally I removed manually the program folder, dlls and registry keys but I still see it at the "add/remove programs".
My question is if there is a way to manually remove the program from there so I won't see it any more?

if i may add, tweakui will NOT actually remove any software from the hard drive. it merely "hides" them from the list being presented by the "Add/Remove Programs".

you could reinstall and then uninstall again...and or use RegClean. There's also a Regedit, can't recall offhand.....use google
and tortured mind is correct in the effect tweakui will have

I dont have an installed copy I can check right now, but I think jv16 powertools will display the add remove menu and remove items from it for you.

The last freeware version was 1.3, I cant remember where I found it last, it takes a bit of searching because many of the 1.3 links actually go to the new shareware version.

Are your registry and data backed up?
