One of our G3Si/Csi cabinetds went bad. We shiped the cabinet to our Avaya support. It was found unrepairable and needed to be replaced (estimate 6 weeks).

Now I noticed some errors on the PN of that cabinet. I wanted to remove the fiber-link and remove the cabinet to clear the alarms, but I keep getting an error message saying that the cabinet has translations.

Is there anyway I can clear the alarms without the hardware present?

The only way would be to remove all the translations from the ports, then remove the boards.

You could do a save translation to your flash card.

remove all the ports, boards, etc from the carrier(s)
save translation to a different flash card.

When you add the cabinet back in, reload the switch from the flash card that has all of the ports and boards programmed. You won't have to reprogram everything.
