I have # in dnb as a SS25? How do I remove that? I am at 4.5 cs1000.

SS25? Is that the number, or possibly the DES or maybe the NAME for the extension?

I'm really hoping it is not the extension...

I think you'll have to prove that :) And are you positive it is those characters exactly?

Can you copy the DNB entry in?

SS25 is the type
DN 88
TYPE NARS
NTBL AC2

DN 9
TYPE NARS
NTBL AC1

DN #
TYPE SS25

I'm guessing that is the remains of something very old - possibly your database was upgraded a lot of times - all the way from pre-X11. SS25 simply describes "2500 Set Dial Access to Features".

# is reserved for these analog features, and even with FFC, you cannot remove it's function:

[tt]
# + 1 + DN Call Forward

# + 2 + Speed Call code + DN Speed Call, Individual, To Program Entry

# + 2 + Speed Call code + * Speed Call, Individual, To Erase Entry

# + 3 + Speed Call code Speed Call, Individual, To Use Entry

# + 4 Permanent Hold
[/tt]

You can however, add new FFCs from #5 up to #9, #*, etc.
