I have an old Exchange 5.5 server that shows up in systems manager. This machine has not existed for a long time - since before I started at the company.

I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it with no luck, I'm just about ready to pull out the white out and do it manually on screen.

Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi Dan,

Any luck on this? I too have an old 5.5 server that is still seen in the System Manager. It's "greyed" out so you can not remove it. We apparently didn't remove it correctly when we shut down our last remaining Exchange 5.5 server.

Thanks Mark...this looks promising. I'm hoping it works the same way for a 2003 Exchange server.
