How to remotely restart Linksys Router

The depends on the conditions: remote as in inside the lan or remote as in outside the lan? I also assume that you want to use something other than the restart function built into the web interface? The only other thing that I can think of is a UPS that has remote access capability, but that might not work if the ups is not accessible (because of a problem with the router & hence the reason for the question)
