We have 2 offices both of which use WAG300N Modem/Router/Gateways for internet access.
All PC's run WinXP SP2 and are in peer-to-peer configuration (no servers).
We wish to use Remote Desktop to enable management of one site from the other.
Please can you assist with the relevant instructions.
I found the following article which covers setting up the Remote Desktop but not how to set up the VPN and configure the Router/Gateways.
Nor how to address the computers behind the Routers which use the same IP address ranges.
Additional info:
1. The remote peer - to - peer network has a WAG300N Modem/gateway/routers using an external fixed IP addressed provided by its ISP (Fixed 212.1.134.xxx).
2. The local WAG300N Modem/gateway/routers has a dynamic IP address issued by its ISP (currently in the range 89.242.244.xxx, Mask 255.25.255.255, Gateway 89.242.240.2).
3. Both peer - to - peer networks are using WAG300N Modem/gateway/routers with DNS allocating the local IP addresses in the default range 192.168.1.100-200.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
