Hi folks.
I have a mail server that I want to use to relay mail sent from one domain to another mail server, and send the rest out as it usually would.
For example, say I am sending from user@domain1.com. I also am sending from user@domain2.com. I want postfix to forward mail sent from domain1.com to another server that will then deliver it to the recipient. Mail sent from domain2.com would be delivered as usual.
I'm in this situation because (of a software bug in the Goldmine email client) I'm forced to use the same SMTP server for multiple email accounts. One of those email accounts needs to send through a specialized SMTP tap that copies each email to an archive. I don't want all email accounts to go through that SMTP server. So, my plan is to use postfix to forward mail from domain1.com to the special SMTP tap, and simply send out mail from domain2.com as it normally would.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ian
