Today I attempted to get another user on my database, after her computer was updated to Access 2007. Upon opening the database (which is split and linked), the first attempt to click on the Switchboard produced the following error message:

"The expression On Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: The expression you entered has a function name that Microsoft Office Access can't find."

I thought it might have had to do with References, but apparently not. And something in the vba (module) may have been corrupted, as a subsequent error message informed. After trying one to many things to make this work, my own computer generated the same error when I tried it myself. Fortunately, I have a back up to work with, that I have compiled and put in a safe place.

Can anyone explain how this comes about? I'm about to try again with the other user's computer, so I do not yet know if the back up is going to work. Sharing out has been more fraught than I'd thought!

Have you checked the option to enable all macros in the Trust Center settings?

Yes I did, and that worked; I had to enable it on each users workstation--
Thank you!
