How to refresh an asp page

Hey everyone,

I have a question with regards to refreshing a page. I have a page that I would like to refresh after another page is loaded. This is because I will check some security variables from a database when it is refreshed.

The setup is that I have a webpage that is using a toolbar on the left and the pages on the right (targets). I am trying to make the left side (toolbar) somewhat dynamic in terms of changing depending on who logs in.

Any ideas how I can refresh this page automatically...I have searched around but found nothing.

It sounds like your using frames, is this the case??

I would suggest useing client side javascript for this, you use the OnLoad command to refresh a named frame, I'm not great at Javascript, but there is a forum. forum216 BDC.
