How to reduce a backup file size?

Hi all. What is the best way to reduce a backup file size. For now I am backing up in a new file which is small because it's new but later on the problem will be the same...

I have heard that SQLLite is a great backup software for MS SQL Server that reduces the size of the backup.

Other than that, check into compressing the data.
