How can I redirect a file location without changing it in
the registry.
I want to put my favorites for Internet Explorer on a flash
drive and be able to go to any computer with XP and use
my favorites on my flash drive.
I tried using subst command but I can only redirect a folder
to a drive not a folder to a folder.
Any suggestions?

Plug in you usb stick make a folder called favorites or (what ever you want to call it)
Then go my computer-c drive- documents and settings - (your name)- favorites highlight the favorites you want and copy them to the usb stick.(may need admin access to do that if your on a network)
then go to another pc plug in the stick open the folder and double click on the favorite your after.

Works for me...

Regards
Max
