How to recreate InventoryService ?

Hi !
I've had a NDS problem wich had me remove DS off my ZEN 3.0 server.
DS is now back again and ZEN seems to work OK except for the InventoryService wich will not start.
When right-clicking in ConsoleOne on the object servername_ZENInvService I get this message:

Unable to read the existing shared directory.Scan directory path is not modified.Log in as administrator

If I double-click the same object I get the message:

Inventory server not installed.

Do I have to reinstall the Inventory service or is it possible to just recreate the inventory server objects ?

I would appreciate any help/tips on this matter.

The easiest way to do this is to just reinstall the Inventory service. The ZEN Installer will allow you to choose just the Inventory service (you may want to reinstall the Sybase as well). Do note, this can over write current data in the database. Brent Schmidt CNE, Network +
