How to Recover The Password for cisco 678 dsl router

I have a big problem, when i do a telnet session if ask me for a password and when i'm using HyperTerminal with the cable management if ask me for the password too, i'm triying
to join to the configuration because i have more machines and i just have one IP assigned on the router to access to the internet, i need to set more ip addresses for the other computers, now the computers are working but with two ethernet cards on the server to share the internet.

Step 2 advises to power down the router, and wait untill you see "Hello!" you should press ctrl c ASAP. Besure to look at the ASCII list to decode. Good Luck !!! Jeter@LasVegas.com

Go to Cisco on line and search on Password Recovery for your model, follow the instructions... its very easy to get into the router as long as you can console into it. Rember to change / remove the telnet password - line VTY 0 4 password and login entries
