I was wondering is there a way to recover (Undelete) a file which was accidentaly deleted in Win2K pro. ( The file has been deleted from recycle bin too)

As far as I know Emptying the recycle bin is pretty much final. It clears the disk of the data being deleted..that is unless you have some sort of backup mechanism in place to restore from..?..

Actually, deleting from the Recycle Bin removes the pointer to the data on the disk so it can't be seen anymore..the data apparently hangs around till it is overwritten by something else...try using Undelete2.0 or something similar which can recover the data on the disk of the file(s) that were deleted (given that they have not been overwritten on the disk yet!)
Hope this helps

ontrack Easy Recovery pro is not free but works great for deleted files.

* That Disk Rescue is most useful, Kento! :) Nice one, Matey.

Yeah it a cool program to have just in case a file wonders off. ;)

Dang, actually I meant "wanders" off.
