Hi all,

I'm working on a client that uses the Nice Perform 3.2 and SC 9.10.
I had problems with disk space to store recordings calls, and we add more space on the partition of Storage. Anyone know how to make the SC recalculate the new quota?

thanks in advance

the disk space that is configured in nice storage center is detected in the moment you create the storage unit.

the times i ve had to increase disk space, i had to create a new storage unit despite of the new unit has the same or similar network path.

the storage group you set up on nice includes the size of the sum of every storage unit you configured for that group, so i would the most aproximate to "recalculate" new size / quota.

i have an official answer for your question
quoting Maintenance Guide for Customers - NICE Perform - 3.x.pdf

Adding a New Storage Unit to a Storage Group
performed by
Customer
As needed To increase the available storage capacity of a storage group.

(BUT)

Expanding the Size of a Storage Unit
performed by
Customer /
Nice Tier3
and Tier4
As needed To increase the available size of an existing Storage Unit.

as you can see, nice boys from III an IV floor are invited, so would better choose the add storage unit method.

you could add a new storage unit although the physical location is the same that the current unit(s), the results would be the same.

When I've increased the size of a storage unit previously all I've had to do was to stop and start the SC. The SC should always assess the quota size when it starts and dependent upon how much space you add this could take some time before SC starts acting on the rules i.e. I changed from 400Gb to 1.95Tb and the quata calculation took nearly 4hrs
