Hi

Can somebody help me on the below.

User selects a text file which has some unique document numbers. My OScript code should read the text file from user's desktop and process it. Please help me on how to acheive this?

Regards

what level of oscript do you posess.as it turns out if you look at builder help it has an example of reading a file.oscript works only server side so either you have to submit the file to your "request handler" or even read the file as a string.there is nothing special about reading a file,it is akin to asp's readfile or java's method's.Customizations such as this is usually developed in your own module and installe don the livelink instance.Depending on how much "home work" you have done please ask this forum again and you will surely get help.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
