How to read records from a file from a Sybase stored procedure.

Oracle supports the ability to open a file for read and get records from a file. I would like to do the same thing from a Sybase stored procedure. Is this possible?

I beleive if you have a license for the ASE_FSX (ASE File System Access) you should be able to do this.
