Hi!
Most barcode scanners can act as a keyboard wedge i.e. as it scans it populates the entry control which has focus. Otherwise you need to communicate with it using Serial Communications for which you can use ClaCOM or WinEvent. Some barcode scanners with memory store the information in text files that can be downloaded and imported.
