need some help a reading D channel hex code on MSGO/MSGI messages set on mon 1/2

You need ISDN Decoder from Wipro labs; it's not available except to Nortel (er, Avaya). It decodes mon level 1.

What are you trying to troubleshoot?

we are up grading our voice mail system to avaya 5.0 which is using PRI 2 instea of 2616s. we are having some issues with MWI indicators

Are you using QSIG? I believe you have to if you want MWI w/ an Avaya.

RCAP COLP NDI QMWI

from my d back to an avaya, IF you make chnages to the d, you have to dis msdl x all, enl msdl x fdl to write those changes to the card..

yes, i learned that the hard way... make the change, test, take that one out, try another.. no change takes effect without the download.. so if you break the d, it will still work until the next power cycle.. (or force download)

Pretty sure its the same if your D channel resides on a TMDI and you make a change in it:

LD 96
DIS TMDI x
ENL TMDI x FDL

Yes, at minimum the DCH has to be disabled and then re-FDL. If it's a TMDI I'd recommend doing the entire TMDI...
