How to read and write gif file

Hi,

I want to add .gif file format as one of the predefined
file formats to Adobe Illustrator, so that I can get .gif
file saving option in the File Save dialog box in Illustrator.
What sort of code should goFileFormat function in TextFileFormat.cpp have to read and write graphics file?
