Hello,

We have to create a new report (Crystal XI) but the source of information is a view in Oracle that can be access thru the linked server in SQLServer2005.

If i am in query analyzer in SQLServer2005 i can see the view. But how do i do that in Crystal Report? How can i connect to it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I've not tried it, but if you can create a standard View within SQL Server that does a select * from the linked view you can use that.

Another solution would be to create the SQL in query analyzer to select data from it and in CR XI use the Add Command under your SQL Server connection to paste in the SQL.
