I wanted to know whether there was a way that you can recall an email you have sent using Microsoft Outlook.

Hello,

Yes you can. .

That said there are a few things to be aware of:
1. You cannot recall a message if the other person has already opened it.
2. Sometimes even if you are successful there may be a new message in the other persons Inbox saying "CST wishes to recall this message" So you better have a good excuse ready.
3. This feature only works on Email messages on your LAN, NOT on ISP mail.

To recall a message:
1. Go to the "Sent" folder
2. Open the Email you want to recall
3. Click on "Actions" then click on "Recall this Message"

Good Luck,
Michael

To expand on #1 in Storyteller's list: If a person has their Inbox set to auto-preview and their Outlook is running the messages has been "opened" automatically. Outlook has to do this to get the first 3 lines. The recall message will be there as a secon message and if the recipient opens it first the recalled mesage will be deleted, however, if they open the message first they will be able to read it.
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com

Of all the things I've lost in life, I miss my mind the most ...
