I have an object (for example, a rectangle 100x1000px) with a pattern on it.

I would like to turn that rectangular object into a 90 degree arc curve "cleanly" (ie, without spending hours fiddling with the mesh warp tool or slicing it into sections and rotating them ever-so-slightly).

Any ideas on how I might go about accomplishing this? I have Photo XI.

Have you tried Effects/ Distortion/ Warp?

You'll need to put some work in to get it right, but then you can record a script and use that.

I looked that over, and it *might* work. The biggest problem I'm seeing is that it thins considerably by the time it gets warped enough to angle 'round the way it should.

Perhaps if I made it thicker at first, then warped it back down to thin again, it would do what I want it to. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any other approaches that anyone knows of?
