How to query a ddf...

I'd appreciate any help creating a field cross reference list that answers the following query...

Return all the table names (in a ddf) that contain the field "ItemKey".

Please help educate me. Thanks!

 
Here you go.. This worked for me using Pervasive.SQL V8. It may work with older versions. I haven't tested it though.
select xf$name from x$file, x$field where xe$file = xf$id and xe$name = 'ItemKey'
This also assumes that your DDFs are accurate, complete, and correct. If the DDFs don't pass the Database Consistency Check (especially in regards to X$FILE or X$FIELD tables), then this query may not work. info@mirtheil.com
