How to put the sum right after the summary in the report? 2

Hi Everyone....I have generated a report using cursor.... but the sum prints far from the details.. As shown in the picture.... how am i going to put the total sum right after the details? thanks in advanced...

Hi Mandy,

I'm guessing this is because you have put the two total fields in the report footer. If you move them to a report summary band, they should appear as you want. (You might also need to make the report footer band smaller: experiment a bit with that).

Yes Mike its in the footer band, i tried experimenting, but did get the right output… ok Mike i’ll to look for report summary band.., thanks Mike…

Mandy, keep in mind that you might need to insert the summary band if it is not already present. You do that from the Optional Bands option on the Report menu.

And don't be confused by the fact that the summary band appears in the report designer below the page footer. That's not how it will appear in the actual report.
