I can't be more explicite thant that. I want to put a swf in an email. I tried a couple of things. I'm sure it's easy if you know how !

Please help, asap

Thanks

Publish your .fla file as a .exe file and you can email it as an executable file.

In the file menu click on publish settings and uncheck everything but windows projector[.exe] and click publish this will turn your .fla into a .exe perfect for emailing...by the way flaskit.com is an excellent place to drink flash.

i think he want's it to actually show up in the mail..to be playing inside..

Virt2001 is right.

I want the email software to display the swf when the user gets his emails. (think I should have been more explicit !)

Since you can now put an email in HTML format, I figured I could implement the swf into the source. I haded somewhere in the body:

<embed src=&quot;anim.swf&quot; valign=center width=350 height=250>
(or at least the valid version copied from HTML Publish flash gave me)

And I joined the swf to the email.

result was a white square in the black email.

Now, please, gimi something !!!

Hi it's simple actually, publish your flash movie to the web, like in a folder on the server somewheres or a free hosting site. Next, and now i think this works only in OUTLOOK EXPRESS ( email client ), but anyhow in outlook express goto the top tab labeled &quot;message&quot; then select &quot;new message using&quot; then select webpage. Next type in the url for your flash movie your wishing to send. EG;
my sever will be the name of your host, foldername is the name of your folder containing the flash movie, the flash movie. htm will be the name of your exported flash movie. This way works great for me, and I hope it works for you. Send me an email and i will show you a flash movie inside my response back to you! :) Cheers,
