Hi
I'm 'tidying' up my cd's.
Got a few games Tiger Woods golf, Colin Mcrae rally etc etc that span over multiple cd's.
Is there a way I can put these onto a dvd and STILL have them install correctly, without the insert CD2 message .

Just rather have them on one disc than 4 !

Thanks

Steve

These are some Google comments, you can search there for more.

Multiple CD program on one DVD

can i put multiple cd-r's onto 1 dvd?

What might work would be to install the Game fully to your hard drive (if that possibility exists) then backup all the installed the Games files to DVD. You could then delete the files from your computer, leaving just the vital Registry entries intact. Whenever you want to play the Game you would be able to restore all the files from DVD. The limitations would be that you could only do this on a one computer setup and not be able to swap computers without installing from CD's.

Let us know if you get over this problem, especially things like copy protection and asking for CD1, CD2, etc.

I keep images of CD's on a server and mount the image if I need the CD. You could place the images on a DVD.
