Hi guys:
I have Crystal Enterprise Express v10 installed. IIS works as a web server.
I'm trying to publish a parameter-driven report on a website that I've created. From this website I click on a link and the report should get opened but when I click on the link I get a 'Crystal Report Viewing Log On page telling me that 'The Web Component Server could not log you on to the CMS. Please re-enter your user name and password' I enter my id and pw and then I get 'Error encountered by Crystal Page Server' The error message returned is: 'Internal error.[On Cache/Page Server: .......'.

Any idea as to what can be wrong?

Many many thanks

Hi,
Can you run the report from the CMC?

How are you calling it ( InfoView, Custom code, etc)

Having to enter the login info often results in any parameters passed in the code being ignored, but the report, assuming it was published with the default options, should then prompt you for them..

Check the event viewer on the web server for more details about the error messages and post what you find..

Hi,

This report runs successfully on the CMC and the method to call it is using a webpage I created that has a link to the report.

Thanks for your reply Turkbear
