How to provide READ ONLY Access to an access app

I am supporting an app, problem is I did not develop it.
THe developer had to leave as his wife gave birth ....
As he was running out, I asked him about the read-only access...he muttered something about a login page.
Is there a easy way to accomplish this task as I don't think they want to use the internal access security...

That's a pretty tough HR policy you operate!

The simplest way to implement R/O is via the desktop shortcut that starts the app using the /ro switch.
