I designed a report in which two subreports are existing
when i am trying to run the reports from my application, they are not getting opened, I clearly loggedon to the server and set the connection Property, but it is giving an error saying "Unable to Open SQL Database"--Please help me in resolving the problem

I would appear that your subreport is using a different method of connection to access your data.

It may be that one report is connecting using CR Oracle 7 and one using CR Oracle 8.

Check you Database Driver connection setting.
ie.
Database...
Convert Database Driver...
Cancel

Then editing your subreports and check your connection method to see if it is set to the same one.

ie.
Database...
Convert Database Driver...
If different
Tick the tick box to enable you to change the value

Select the same method used for you main report.

Hopefully this will sort out your problem.

Hth,
Geoff
