how to do that in AI v.10 ?

thx

thx for response

i do need a solution within AI v. 10
is there a way or not?

When you get the window for the pdf export see if theres a section for Security. If it's not there AI 10 doesn't have it.

If you have Acrobat - full - you can open the pdf and go to File Menu/Document properties and click Security to add password, and other, protection.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

i dont see in AI this Security option
dont have a full acrobat
so no ways than?

...not a free way, as far as i know, there is software that can add security to pdf's...

...try a search in google for 'password protect pdf'...
