I know there are a ton of posts about this, but here is my issue.

I don't work in the world of IP Office, I work with the Avaya CM environment. But I've been asked to determine how to setup email alerts for IP Office when 911 is called.

I need step by step information if you can provide it as to how this can be done in IP Office. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I can't figure it out from what I'm finding online.

Thanks.

I think it can email alarms. I recall doing SNMP on it once or twice and like on a BCM, you pick what alarms you want to have sent. I'd figure if 911 call generates an alarm, that'd be the way to do it. Otherwise, I guess a CDR package.

I wonder if the ARS or short codes have something like "dial alert" or "dial emergency" to sort of mimic crisis alert and make the call but also raise a red flag

Yes all indications are that you can setup an alarm in the system to send an email. I just need to know the steps necessary to do it.

If there is a document, that specifically provides this step by step that would be what I need. Or if someone can provide it I would be very greatful.

I thought it was in the system part in the alarms tab. The help button in each screen brings you to the screen reference for that section
