How to program extensions to a 7916 sidecard

Hi,

We have a CUCM 6.1 and I want to know if there is a way to porgram all the extensions altogether then load it to the phone to prevent the phone from resetting everytime an extension is added. We have a lot of 7965's with 2 7916 sidecards each, we have to do changes to the sidecards every week.

i only have a handfull of the expansion modules myself and for lines the admin must add them. i have updated lines using the bulk administration/phones/add, update lines. i bet that would work to do all your side cars in one stop.

Any change to the side car will make it reset.

Iwontremember, Can you please give me more info on how to do it? I never had to do bulk admin. Will there be any downtime on the phone/CCM if you do it in Bulk Admin. I'm new to CUCM.

you have to create a .csv file and it will only let you update 24 lines at one time? lemme look and i'll see if i have an example bat file.

An example of the bat file will be a big help. Also, what downtime on the phone will be involve using BAT.
