How to program auto dial on Nortel 61c 5

I need some help on how to program auto dial on Nortel PBX. i.e. press 'auto dial' button and enter the speed dial code (006). Which will auto dial programmed number (9-XXX-XXXX). Thank you for your support!

Program the key as an "ADL" without the quotes. For example

key 8 ADL
key 9 ADL
key 10 ADL

You can't use a speed dial number inside a Autodial button.

Key x ADL 16

to program hit key
enter number to dial ie: 912125551212

hit key again, it is now programmed.

i want to say that you can hot d to an scl entry, but it's been a decade since i played with that.. look up the hot key options in ld 11

If you are looking for how to use the ADL key:

Press the Autodial Key once and it should start flashing. This indicates that it is programming mode.

Then enter the number you want programmed 9-1-XXX-XXX-XXXX

Press the Key a second time and it stops flashing and is ready for use.

To use the programmed key:

Activate a line by picking up the handset or pressing a line key.

Press the Autodial key and the programmed number will be dialed.

We use several Speed Dial Codes on ADL Keys however the speed dial codes are the Carrier ones used to after Trunk Hook Flash to transfer to other Agencies.

eg. Key 09 ADL 6 *11

You could use this one though.
KEY XX CS YYYY (Combined No Hold Conference and Speed Call Key)
YYYY = Speed Call List Number.

(Ensure TN is set to SSU for appropriate Speed Call List)

Combined no hold and Autodial.

YY is the maximum digits 4-23 (16 Deafault.)
ZZZZ is the actual Autodial number
